99 Fails

99 Fails is an impossibly difficult roguelite platformer set in Zeebo's surreal nightmare with bizarre monsters, set to music by legendary David Wise. The premise is very simple: traverse pillars in Zeebo's different forms while the bizarre environment tries to distract you!

- Test your your skill in pillar and platform traversal with 3 different mechanics that gets increasingly tricky as distance, position and visibility vary.

- Get through story mode and unlock Zeebo's backstory through a rich 8-page comic, compete with friends and foes in arcade mode up to 4 players, and race absolutely everyone at the same time in endless!

- Battle to maintain focus as Zeebo's mind does everything to distract you with surreal mental events where time slows down, speeds up, vision is mirrored and bizarre fantastical monsters distract you, chase you and even try to poke you off balance.

- Hand-drawn 2D colorful art that turns out to be weird, macabre and even grotesque, which many players describe as “surreal, beautiful, and unsettling.”

- Enjoy a banging main soundtrack by none other than legendary David Wise, of Donkey Kong Country fame!

Work your way through handcrafted sections and checkpoints in a map where you learn more about Zeebo's world Neebota by unlocking his tragic back story, consisting of beautifully hand-painted comic frames. Finish the game to unlock all the pages and find out some of the story behinds Zeebo's suffering and in his world, Neebota!

In arcade mode you can challenge yourself in three difficulties traversing 99 or 666 procedurally generated pillars, all unlocked different areas, and with friends and foes too! Race up to 3 others online to the finish!

- Just how far can you get? Or anyone? Endless is an always online mode with literally everyone competing at the same time to get as far as possible. The journey is endless and the amount of players too. There can be only one winner!

Neebota is a new fantasy universe where beings called Neebotians wrestle with hope, fear, dreams, and self-discovery, much like us humans. Its dreamworld, Noobota , reflects the minds of its inhabitants: twisted, beautiful, and layered with meaning. Zeebo, Laurencia, Rashkadim, and Bervie is a group of friends who hunt for portals to our earth on Neebota and face themselves in their nightmares.

99 Fails is a snapshot Zeebo's dream and developed by indie studio Frying Jelly with a focus on building original IP and immersive worlds you can get lost in, with the grand RPG "Neebota: Zeebo's Awakening" being the dream game the studio is working towards.
