1. Introduction and acceptance
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of GameHubber, including GameHubber websites, public pages, account features, developer tools, submissions, studio workspaces, analytics, content, and any related services.
By accessing or using GameHubber, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use GameHubber. These Terms apply to visitors, players, account holders, developers, studios, publishers, submitters, and any other users of the service.
2. What GameHubber is
GameHubber is a game discovery and developer platform. It may include public game pages, Daily Board, Release Radar, Discover Games, guides and articles, ranking and recommendation systems, following and saving tools, account and profile features, and developer or studio features for claiming, submitting, editing, and measuring games and listings.
Developer-facing features may include studio workspaces, listing editors, moderation and review workflows, claim flows, asset and link management, developer analytics, launch readiness signals, and paid or promotional visibility tools such as campaign placements or subscription features.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old, or any older minimum age required where you live, to use GameHubber. If you are below the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use GameHubber only with any required parent or guardian permission.
If you create an account, you must provide accurate information, keep it updated, and maintain the security of your credentials. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information.
One account may support player-facing features as well as membership in one or more studio or developer workspaces. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts, credentials, or access at any time as described in these Terms.
4. Studio accounts and developer roles
GameHubber may allow users to create, join, own, or manage studio or developer workspaces. Roles and permissions may vary by feature and may include owner, admin, editor, viewer, or similar levels where available.
Studio owners and authorized administrators are responsible for managing who has access to their workspace and may be responsible for actions taken by their team members through that workspace.
We may verify ownership, authority, identity, or affiliation before granting or maintaining certain studio, claim, or editing privileges. We may reject, revoke, or limit claims, roles, or access where we cannot verify authority or where the request creates legal, operational, or trust concerns.
5. Game submissions and claims
Developers, publishers, studios, or authorized representatives may submit games, claim existing pages, edit listings, upload or link assets, and provide release, store, genre, platform, social, or promotional information for use on GameHubber.
Submissions and claims may be reviewed, moderated, delayed, verified, rejected, or removed. GameHubber may approve, reject, annotate, correct, merge, deduplicate, reformat, hide, unpublish, or remove listings or changes at any time.
GameHubber may also import or enrich game data from IGDB, Steam, public developer websites, public press materials, and other lawful public or third-party sources. We do not guarantee that any submitted game or claimed page will be accepted, published, promoted, indexed, ranked, or displayed.
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of what you submit and for having the rights needed to submit, claim, edit, publish, or authorize that content or listing.
6. User content and license
User Content means content or materials you submit, upload, post, link, or otherwise make available through GameHubber. User Content may include profiles, comments, replies, votes or saves where displayed, game submissions, descriptions, metadata, studio profiles, links, screenshots, art, videos, trailers, press kits, social links, and feedback.
You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the rights you grant in these Terms. By submitting or making User Content available through GameHubber, you grant GameHubber a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, perform, distribute, transmit, adapt formatting, create previews or thumbnails, promote, market, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate, improve, analyze, market, and promote GameHubber and the games, studios, or content shown through it.
This license includes the right to use submitted assets and listing information across GameHubber surfaces, editorial placements, recommendation modules, rankings, previews, feeds, social cards, screenshots, promotional materials, and other current or future service formats.
The license continues for as long as reasonably necessary for the service and may continue for backups, archives, caches, public distributions already made, legal compliance, historical reporting, or dispute resolution even if content is later changed or removed.
7. Intellectual property
GameHubber and its licensors own the GameHubber service, software, visual design, branding, UI, text, rankings presentation, analytics presentation, database structure, and other proprietary elements, except for third-party and user-owned content.
Third-party game names, trademarks, logos, screenshots, and store materials remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on GameHubber does not imply ownership by GameHubber or endorsement by the relevant rightsholder, platform, or store.
Except as expressly permitted by us or by law, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, scrape, harvest, mirror, resell, exploit, or build a competing database or service from GameHubber content or data.
8. Third-party data and external links
GameHubber may display data sourced from or informed by third parties, including IGDB, Steam, public store pages, developer websites, press kits, and other public or licensed sources. Third-party data may be delayed, incomplete, changed, inconsistent, or inaccurate.
GameHubber also links to third-party services, including game stores and official websites. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and we do not control them.
GameHubber is not responsible for third-party sites, games, prices, release dates, store availability, wishlist systems, purchases, refunds, customer support, platform policy changes, or other third-party acts or omissions.
9. Voting, rankings, recommendations, and analytics
GameHubber may use its own systems, signals, models, heuristics, editorial choices, moderation rules, and anti-abuse measures to determine rankings, recommendations, visibility, fits, lists, Daily Board positions, hidden-gem treatment, discovery placement, or analytics outputs.
Formulas, inputs, thresholds, weights, filters, and ranking logic may change at any time. Not every interaction is weighted equally, and we may filter, disregard, merge, reverse, sample, or adjust activity we consider suspicious, abusive, automated, low-quality, duplicate, fraudulent, manipulated, or otherwise unreliable.
Rankings, recommendations, visibility, and analytics are informational tools, not guarantees. GameHubber does not guarantee rankings, placement, impressions, clicks, wishlists, followers, installs, sales, revenue, traffic, or other outcomes.
10. Developer analytics
GameHubber may provide analytics and operational insights to developers, studios, or workspace members about games they manage or are authorized to review. These analytics may include impressions, page views, votes, saves or follows, store clicks, trailer clicks, rankings, referral surfaces, and launch readiness or listing completeness signals.
Developer analytics are provided for informational purposes only. They may be delayed, incomplete, estimated, sampled, deduplicated, filtered, or adjusted for system limits, data quality, fraud, abuse, or moderation. They are not financial, legal, compliance, or investment advice.
Developers should confirm external conversion metrics, purchases, and any store-side performance directly in Steamworks or the relevant store or platform dashboards where available.
11. Paid and promotional features
GameHubber may offer paid boosts, featured placements, sponsored modules, campaigns, subscriptions, analytics upgrades, or other promotional or commercial products. Current examples may include one-time campaign products such as Discovery Spotlight or Launch Week Boost, and recurring studio subscriptions such as Studio Pro.
Paid features may be subject to additional pricing, product rules, campaign requirements, billing terms, or payment-provider conditions. Availability, placement, timing, approval, editorial fit, performance, and results are not guaranteed.
Paid campaign products may require a claimed or studio-managed game page, studio membership, identity or authority checks, asset review, store-link review, or other manual approval before going live. Payment does not guarantee approval, activation, placement on a specific date, or continued display.
Sponsored, promoted, featured, or otherwise paid placements must remain clearly labeled. Paid products may increase visibility, but they do not buy or alter organic votes, organic rankings, community-favorite status, or similar trust signals.
We may review, reject, pause, limit, reschedule, remove, refund, or relabel paid or promotional content at any time. Refunds, if any, will be handled according to the applicable paid terms, campaign terms, or payment-provider rules.
12. Acceptable use
You may not use GameHubber to do, attempt, encourage, or assist any of the following:
- Break the law or violate the rights of others.
- Submit infringing, stolen, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, threatening, or unlawful content.
- Impersonate another person or falsely claim authority over a game, studio, or brand.
- Upload or link assets, store pages, trailers, or press materials without sufficient rights.
- Spam, manipulate votes, game rankings, fake engagement, or artificially influence analytics or visibility.
- Use bots, scraping, harvesting, bulk extraction, or automated access without our written permission.
- Probe, attack, disable, reverse engineer, or interfere with GameHubber systems or security features.
- Distribute malware, phishing content, credential theft, or other harmful code or behavior.
- Evade rate limits, suspensions, moderation actions, account restrictions, or technical controls.
- Submit misleading store links, fraudulent launch claims, or materially inaccurate listing information.
13. Moderation and enforcement
GameHubber may review, monitor, label, prioritize, downrank, hide, restrict, remove, edit, disable, preserve, investigate, or report content, accounts, submissions, claims, campaigns, comments, or other activity when we believe it is appropriate.
We are not obligated to monitor every part of the service or every user action. Moderation and enforcement may rely on human review, automated systems, heuristic detection, community reports, or any combination of those methods.
We may provide reporting, support, or appeal channels, but we do not promise that every report will receive a response or that any particular outcome will follow. We may revise or reverse moderation decisions at any time.
14. Copyright and illegal-content complaints
If you believe content on GameHubber infringes your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, or if you want to report allegedly illegal content, contact contact@unlimitive.com.
Please include enough information for us to review the complaint, such as:
- Your name, contact information, and relationship to the claimed right or affected interest.
- Identification of the content or listing at issue and where it appears on GameHubber.
- A description of the right claimed or the law allegedly violated.
- A good-faith statement that the complaint is accurate and that you are authorized to make it.
We may remove, disable, restrict, or annotate content while we review complaints, and we may terminate repeat infringers or repeat abusers where appropriate. Users may also use the same contact point to appeal certain moderation or takedown decisions where available.
15. Service availability and changes
GameHubber may change, pause, discontinue, migrate, or remove features, pages, APIs, workflows, analytics, content models, storage, data, or integrations at any time, with or without notice.
Features may be experimental, incomplete, in beta, region-limited, or subject to errors. Public or private data may be corrected, merged, reformatted, deduplicated, archived, or deleted as the service evolves.
We do not guarantee that GameHubber will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
16. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GameHubber is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.
We disclaim, to the fullest extent permitted by law, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, quiet enjoyment, title, availability, accuracy, reliability, and performance.
Without limiting the above, we do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of game data, release dates, platform availability, recommendation quality, rankings, impressions, visibility, wishlists, sales, store outcomes, developer analytics, public claim status, or third-party content or services.
17. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GameHubber and its affiliates, licensors, service providers, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or similar damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, business, opportunities, or other intangible losses arising out of or related to GameHubber.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to GameHubber or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to GameHubber in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $100 if you paid nothing.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you in full.
18. Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GameHubber and its affiliates, officers, directors, personnel, contractors, licensors, and service providers from and against claims, liabilities, losses, damages, judgments, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to:
- Your User Content, submissions, listings, assets, links, or claims.
- Your infringement or alleged infringement of intellectual property or other rights.
- Your misuse of GameHubber, developer tools, analytics, or promotional systems.
- Your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
- Your fraud, deception, impersonation, false authority claim, or abusive activity.
19. Termination
You may stop using GameHubber at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account, workspace, submissions, content, claims, or access at any time, with or without notice, if we believe it is appropriate.
Termination does not automatically require us to delete public listings, backups, moderation records, analytics records, legal records, or other materials that we may reasonably retain.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections relating to intellectual property, licenses, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, moderation, dispute terms, and retained rights or records.
20. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by German law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except to the extent applicable law requires otherwise.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy related to GameHubber or these Terms will be handled in the forum or forums associated with German law, unless applicable law requires a different forum.
21. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time for product, legal, business, or operational reasons. Updated Terms become effective when posted unless a different date is stated.
Where permitted by law, your continued use of GameHubber after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using GameHubber.
